Veteran’s Day Building Project
L and I started a little construction project yesterday evening…GIANT FURNITURE!
L is 6’2″, and a lot of furniture pieces don’t really fit him. His feet hang off the ends of couches when he lays down and he looks like he might break those dining room chairs that have really slender legs! I am 8 inches shorter, so this is not really a problem I suffer from – but I certainly sympathize with this plight. Well, I am always very sympathetic after I finish laughing with him about it! ; ) So we are building a counter-top of giant proportions! Yay!! This is our first construction-y project, and I just had to share because we’re way too excited about it. : )
I was so excited that I USED POWER TOOLS that I am even willing to post these incredibly flattering pictures. Friends, kindly disregard the lovely pajamas I selected. : D Importantly, please note the look of intense concentration and the mad carpentry skillz!!
